Our Roots

Where it started and why it matters

Across Palm Beach County, Lolita Jackson saw nonprofit and community leaders showing up every day for others while carrying so much behind the scenes. Through her work as a grant writer supporting small organizations, she met leaders balancing full-time jobs, running their nonprofits, and caring for their families.

While their dedication was inspiring, one thing stood out: there were very few spaces created for them to pause, rest, and take care of themselves.

That realization led to the creation of Rooted Impact Collective. After helping organizations grow through SeedFunding Consulting, Lolita saw that while the work was moving forward, the people behind it rarely had the chance to step back and reset.

Rooted Impact Collective was created to offer a space where leaders feel seen, supported, and able to take a moment for themselves.

If you’re the one showing up, coordinating programs, supporting families, leading initiatives, or holding things together in your community, this space is for you.

When leaders don’t have space to pause, it can lead to exhaustion, stress, and feeling stretched thin.

When they do, they return with more clarity, energy, and the capacity to continue serving their communities in a meaningful way.

This work is about creating space—for rest, for reflection, and for the people who are always pouring into others.
