Our Roots
In communities across Palm Beach County, Lolita Jackson observes grassroots nonprofit leaders who show up with dedication while managing numerous responsibilities behind the scenes. As a grant writer working closely with small organizations, she encounters leaders balancing full-time jobs, running their nonprofits, and caring for their households. While their commitment inspires her, she recognizes a significant gap: the lack of accessible spaces for these leaders to rest and prioritize their well-being.
To address this need, Lolita founded Rooted Impact Collective. After supporting grassroots organizations through SeedFunding Consulting, she realized that although their programs were advancing, the individuals behind them rarely had the opportunity to pause and refresh. She envisioned creating a space where leaders felt seen, supported, and strengthened both personally and professionally.
Whether you're coordinating an afterschool program, delivering meals to families, hosting community circles, or strengthening your neighborhood, we want you to know that we see you. Our mission is to help you sustain your passion by encouraging you to pause, breathe, and give yourself the care you need to lead with purpose.
Neglecting rest can leave leaders feeling unfocused, drained, or overwhelmed, ultimately affecting their work and relationships. When leaders recharge, they regain clarity, energy, and the capacity to continue to serve their communities with heart.
